Chahuadev Docs

Overview

These legal controls explain how Chahuadev governs public npm distribution, reserves commercial rights, protects branding, and responds to misuse. They support the license and prevent the testing channel from being interpreted as unrestricted public release.

1. Channel governance standard

The official public testing route is the Chahuadev-controlled npm surface. For current public releases, the expected channel is npm package publication under Chahuadev control for Electron + Node.js testing apps.

  • No third-party mirror, repackaging service, or marketplace is authorized to widen the grant.
  • No fork, archive, or alternate installer page may represent itself as an official commercial source without written approval.
  • Public availability must be interpreted together with the license and testing policy, not in isolation.

2. Redistribution and hosting controls

Chahuadev does not grant the public right to redistribute or re-host its apps merely because an npm package exists.

  • No public mirror uploads.
  • No alternative package feeds presenting the software as generally licensable.
  • No bundled redistribution inside third-party products, SDKs, templates, installers, or managed services.
  • No conversion of testing packages into a general public binary catalog without written authorization.

3. Commercial gatekeeping

Commercial rights are intentionally gated. The public testing program is not the commercial program.

  • Production deployment requires direct written authorization.
  • Client delivery, OEM distribution, resale, SaaS usage, managed-service usage, and paid consulting usage require direct written authorization.
  • No reseller, partner, uploader, or community member may expand rights unless Chahuadev has expressly delegated that power in writing.

4. Trademark and identity controls

The Chahuadev brand is not part of the public testing grant.

  • You may not present yourself as an official distributor, partner, or authorized commercial representative without written approval.
  • You may not reuse brand presentation, official package identity, marketing copy, or visual identity to imply rights you do not have.
  • You may not use the Chahuadev name or product marks to market a derivative or unauthorized distribution.

5. Breach and enforcement posture

The following events should be treated as breach triggers or unauthorized conduct:

  • Redistribution or hosting beyond the authorized public testing channel.
  • Commercial use without a direct written agreement.
  • Misrepresentation of brand, channel status, or granted rights.
  • Removal or alteration of proprietary notices or legal terms.
  • Attempts to bypass technical or operational controls intended to limit access or commercialization.

6. Document hierarchy

The intended order of interpretation is:

If there is a conflict, the license controls first.

7. Contact and authorization

Questions about authorization, commercial licensing, channel approval, distribution permission, OEM rights, or legal interpretation should be directed to chahuadev@gmail.com.
