Overview

This page publishes the official license position for Chahuadev software and the public npm testing channel. It makes the boundary explicit: public app packages may be used for internal testing, not for uncontrolled redistribution or commercial deployment.

This repository is proprietary software owned by Chahuadev. It is source-available for limited review and evaluation only. It is not open-source software.

  • You may inspect, download, compile, and run the software only for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation, security review, and compatibility testing.
  • You may not modify the software, create derivative works, redistribute it, sublicense it, host it for third parties, or use it in any commercial or revenue-generating activity.
  • Any public app package published by Chahuadev is made available only as an Electron + Node.js testing package through an official Chahuadev npm channel, unless Chahuadev states otherwise in a separate written agreement.
  • Any production, client, resale, OEM, white-label, SaaS, managed-service, or other commercial right must be purchased directly from Chahuadev under a separate written commercial agreement.
  • No reseller, mirror, fork, marketplace, or third party may grant you commercial rights unless Chahuadev has expressly authorized that party in writing.

1. Definitions

  • Licensor means Chahuadev.
  • Software means this repository, its source code, bundled assets, documentation, build outputs, and any portion of them, except materials that carry a separate third-party license notice.
  • Authorized Commercial Agreement means a written commercial license, order form, contract, or other signed instrument issued directly by Chahuadev.
  • Official npm Channel means an npm organization, package page, or package publication controlled directly by Chahuadev.

2. Limited Non-Commercial License Grant

Subject to your full compliance with this license, Chahuadev grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and review the Software, download and keep a reasonable number of internal backup copies, and compile and run the Software solely for internal, non-commercial evaluation, security review, and compatibility testing.

Where Chahuadev publishes a public app package, that package is offered solely for internal, non-commercial testing through an Official npm Channel. Public availability through npm does not grant production, redistribution, hosting, OEM, marketplace, or other commercial rights.

This public license does not limit Chahuadev itself or any employee, contractor, or partner acting under a separate written agreement with Chahuadev. No other rights are granted, whether by implication, estoppel, exhaustion, or otherwise.

3. No Modification and No Derivative Works

You may not, and may not permit any third party to:

  • modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer for the purpose of producing a competing implementation, or create derivative works of the Software;
  • remove, hide, or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
  • distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, assign, transfer, or otherwise make the Software available to any third party;
  • host the Software or any substantial functionality of it as a service for third parties;
  • embed the Software into another product, SDK, extension, service, or commercial workflow;
  • use the Software to operate a bureau, outsourcing, managed-service, or white-label offering; or
  • bypass, disable, or work around any technical, contractual, or operational control used by Chahuadev to govern access or commercialization.

4. Exclusive Commercial Rights Reserved to Chahuadev

All commercial rights are reserved exclusively by Chahuadev.

You may not use the Software in production, for customer work, for internal business operations, for paid consulting, for resale, for OEM distribution, for SaaS, or for any other direct or indirect commercial purpose unless you first obtain an Authorized Commercial Agreement directly from Chahuadev.

Commercial rights are valid only when granted directly by Chahuadev. Acquisition through an unauthorized reseller, fork, mirror, repackager, marketplace listing, or other non-authorized channel does not create any license or defense to infringement.

5. Ownership and Reservation of Rights

The Software is licensed, not sold. Chahuadev and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, branding, and goodwill.

No trademark rights, branding rights, partnership rights, distribution rights, or exclusivity rights are granted under this license.

6. Third-Party Components

This license applies only to materials owned or licensable by Chahuadev.

Any file, directory, dependency, or component that includes its own license notice or third-party attribution remains governed by its separate terms. Those third-party terms do not expand your rights in Chahuadev-owned materials.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically and immediately if you breach any term of it.

Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control, except to the extent retention is required by law. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, OR RESULTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHAHUADEV WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS LICENSE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
